Please note:  Langar cum Barnstone Parish Council wishes to state:
1.  That information provided on this site does not originate from the council as a corporate body.
2.  That those persons providing the information may or may not have a link with the council as individuals.
Where such link exists, those concerned are not acting in any kind of official capacity on behalf of the council.
3.  That it makes no guarantees as to the accuracy of information on this site.
4.  That it does not claim that all information has been exhaustively researched.
5.  That it is not responsible for the content of external websites it links to.
6.  That the information is offered ‘as is’ with the wish to be helpful.
7.  That the information was believed to be correct at the time of entering it.
8.  That site visitors should check for themselves when making use of it.
This site is being regularly extended, with more information being added as it becomes available.
We would encourage anyone interested, whether parishioners or not, of any age to offer their help in researching and developing its content.

Although I am doing site maintenance, Nigel Wood and Gordon White have undertaken the task of developing the content. All the content so far has been produced by one or the other of them.

They need help! Please do consider offering to get involved in this exciting parish project.
Contact Nigel for details - see above.

Please Note:
1. The Quick Links list on the left includes just a sample of the articles typical of those to be found on this site, not the entire site contents.

2. I have used the term ‘articles’ throughout this site. The vast majority of the information you will find on here is in PDF-file format. Each of  these files have one or more pages, these pages containing pictures or text or both, hence the term ‘article’. However, in some cases there has been no point in re-writing information already presented perfectly satisfactorily elsewhere. In those cases, rather than opening a PDF file, the ‘article’ is in the form of a direct link to another website that contains information on the item you have clicked on.

Harby History

- New Book Launch

Although about Harby, there are lots of cross overs so the parish of Langar is included, especially for the airfield.
